Hello,
I live in an Eichler house built in the
1960s. Many Eichler homeowners want to retain the look and
feel of the house and rather than rip out the built-in features, we
try to find ways of improving the old worn fittings without
sacrificing the style. I recently had great success
retrofitting my sliding closet door "hardware" (woodslides -- see
pic) with Johnson Sliding Door hardware series 2200.
As mine is a non-standard application, I telephoned you and
received very friendly and helpful advice. I have been using the
door for a while now and am very happy both with the ease of
replacement and the operation of the hardware/sliding doors.
